Acquisition Integration Project Manager

Location: St. Cloud , MN

The Acquisition Integration Project Manager is responsible for ensuring completion of acquisition integration plans and other supporting activities to ensure effective and efficient integration of corporate acquisitions. The Acquisition Integration Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project execution from team notifications and scheduling to ensuring all tasks in acquisition integration project plan are completed so that our acquired business and employees are in an optimal position to perform successfully and deliver expected ROI. The Acquisition Integration Project Manager will create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet challenging needs and requirements to deliver business value by balancing resources, scope and time. In addition, the Acquisition Integration Project Manager will assist in the development of internal project management methodologies and strategies to optimize acquisition performance results and efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement project plans in accordance with business requirements according to priority determined by Operations Leadership and with the help of project team and key stakeholders

  • Plan the acquisition project to accomplish goals and produce the deliverables required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards

  • Continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the plan and report back to the project team, management, and other stakeholders as often as daily

  • Quarterback the involvement of Marco personnel assigned to projects in order to accomplish its goals or produce the deliverables required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed standards

  • Coordinate schedules and activities, check deliverables, and track progress and results of Acquisition Project

  • Lead sub-team meetings, including the delivery of agendas prior to meeting, communication of key outcomes and action items, and ensuring team accountability to completing action items in a timely and efficient manner

  • Identify, log, analyze and manager potential and actual issues and risks. Take corrective action to reduce risks that might impact scope, schedule, quality and cost

  • Identify and monitor when extra time or extra resources are required and where efficiencies can be made. Recognize deviations and act accordingly to achieve desired objectives

  • Manage, monitor and help coordinate work of parts of the work completed by sub-team leaders or their delegates

  • Assist in developing project management standards and tools which include procedures, templates, tools, sharing best practices, etc.

  • Procure a working knowledge of the business, technology being used, and other key Acquisition Project knowledge and understand requests coming from seller, stakeholders, and Acquisition Core Team to evaluate what is reasonable or possible

  • Follow structure for Acquisition Project documentation and validate that all documentation requirements have been met at the close of the project

  • Assist in the development and execution of acquisition supporting strategy projects to improve EBITDA results and acquisition performance.

  • Attend required company, stakeholder, and sub-team meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Marco Business Operations Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorís degree in Business Management or related discipline and 5+ years of experience in project management or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with Smart Sheets or other project management software is a plus, but not required.
  • Superior internal and external communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Natural aptitude for complex problem solving and understanding and mitigating risks
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Excellent organization and time/task management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within a defined timeline and to operate with changing priorities
  • Self-managed with a strong ability to exercise objective judgement, demonstrate diplomacy and thrive under intense deadlines
