Managed Service Sales Representative

Location: Middletown, PA

The Managed Service Sales Representative is responsible for achieving individual and team sales goals by managing resources within an assigned territory to ensure long-term business development and sales growth. This position will be responsible for collaborating with their sales peers to effectively promote, qualify, design and close new business within our Managed IT, Cloud IT, Cloud Voice and WAN/Carrier Solution offerings and be responsible for finding new customers as well as managing existing customer relationships. This position offers a base salary plus commissions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with designated territory copier sales peers to execute new Managed IT Services revenue
  • Provide coaching and training to territory copier sales peers on Marco’s Managed IT Services portfolio
  • Technical scoping and product expertise on Marco’s Managed portfolio
  • Managing and growing a sales funnel for Marco’s Managed portfolio
  • Working closely with Marco’s Sales Engineering and Client Care teams to serve our clients
  • Working closely with Marco’s territory IT Sales Manager to generate new sales revenue
  • Generating and completing Managed Service contract paperwork
  • Analysis of existing customers’ vendor invoicing and contract information
  • Adopting Marco’s culture with an emphasis on respect for the client and employees
  • Managing the existing client base and finding new IT clients in the designated area
  • Leveraging Marco’s competencies in Tier 1 IT solutions (Cisco, EMC, Mitel, HP) and Managed IT Solutions to bring value to organizations
  • Working closely with Marco’s Engineering and Client Care teams to help our clients implement IT solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of managed services and/or carrier sales experience
  • A technical aptitude or background is preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external clients
  • Excellent customer service and phone skills
  • Strong follow-up and time management abilities and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, goal-driven environment
  • Highly organized, ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activity
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively and professionally manage various types of people and situations
  • Proven track record of overachieving assigned monthly quota
